MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions form part of your membership agreement with Just4YouFitness Ltd (“the Gym”). By becoming a member, you agree to these Terms.

1. MEMBERSHIP

Membership is personal and non-transferable. Access credentials must not be shared. Membership permits access according to your membership type. The Gym reserves the right to refuse or terminate membership where reasonable grounds exist. 

2. MINIMUM TERM, CANCELLATION AND DOWNGRADES 

All memberships have a strict minimum term of three (3) full calendar months. Membership cannot be cancelled or downgraded during the minimum term. After the minimum term, membership continues on a rolling basis. Cancellation or downgrade requires written notice via email to members@just4youfitness.co.uk. A full calendar month's notice on downgrades is required. This is strictly enforced. Membership fees remain payable during the notice period regardless of usage. 

3. MEMBERSHIP FREEZE / SUSPENSION

Membership freezes or suspensions are not guaranteed and are granted strictly at the discretion of the Directors. The Gym reserves the absolute right to approve or refuse any freeze request for any reason. Where a freeze is approved, one full calendar month's membership fee will be retained in advance and held on account. This retained month will be applied and redeemed when the membership resumes or during the final month of membership. The freeze period will not count toward the minimum membership term. Freeze requests must be submitted in writing to members@just4youfitness.co.uk.

4. 24/7 ACCESS AND SECURITY

The Gym provides 24/7 access, including unmanned hours, upon application.

Minimum age is 18 years old. Members accept full responsibility for their safety when using unmanned facilities. 

All lights, equipment, speakers, must be turned off when leaving. Access credentials must not be shared. Allowing unauthorised access will result in immediate termination without refund. 

5. HEALTH AND SAFETY

Members exercise entirely at their own risk. Members must use equipment safely and report faults. Members must not exercise under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

6. LONE TRAINING 

Members acknowledge risks associated with training alone. Members accept full responsibility for their safety during unmanned hours. 

Emergency contact numbers are displayed on the notice board at reception. 

7. PHOTO AND VIDEO CONSENT

The Gym may take photographs or video recordings for marketing purposes. Members consent to use of images unless they opt out by emailing members@just4youfitness.co.uk. The Gym will take reasonable steps to respect opt-out requests. 

8. PAYMENTS 

Membership fees must be paid in advance. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination. 

9. MEMBER CONDUCT 

Members must behave respectfully. Damage, abuse, or unsafe conduct may result in termination without refund. 

10. LIABILITY 

At all times members use facilities at their own risk. Nothing excludes liability for death or injury caused by negligence. 

11. DATA PROTECTION

Personal data is handled in accordance with UK GDPR. 

12. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
